A Completely Thrifted Outfit (Day 27)

Dress: thrifted, $4
Shoes: thrifted, $2.50
Scarf: thrifted, $1
Belt: thrifted, $1
Total Spent: $8.50

So...as stated in this post's title, this outfit was completely thrifted! Everything's from Goodwill. Sometimes I think I'm more proud of my thrift store finds than my expensive retail purchases.
Also, I've been trying to use my scarves in different ways lately...I keep seeing other remixers tie their scarves up in such cute ways, and it's got me trying to wear mine in new ways as well. This time I wore this one in a circle scarf style. Last time it was more of a vintage bow:

  1. Hey, thanks for the recipe! Actually, I really didn't think it sounded gourmet, which is what was so appealing! Haha. I've learned that I don't do well with complex recipes, so the simplicity of pasta + breaded chicken + cheese + tomato sauce sounded incredible! Honestly, I just don't know how to bread chicken, haha! That recipe you linked should help with that.

Also, quick as your meal might have been, fancy cheese like havarti makes it count as goooood cooking. : P

P.S. I completely love this outfit. You should probably come to Tennessee and show me how you thrift store shop. I need your gift.

  2. I love that this entire outfit is thrifted! This might sound corny, but it's really inspirational! After years of buying housewares at thrift stores I've recently started looking through the clothes there and there's such great stuff! My poor closet is overflowing with new skirts I've found and I can't wait to wear them once warm weather gets here!

  5. A stunning scarf on a lovely lady. Alliteration never seemed more appropriate.
