A Dash of Abstract

Finally back! I found this little gem on my trip, in an adorable consignment boutique:

I was hesitant to pay the $24 price tag but my gut feeling told me it was worth it. Which is why I was relieved when I made this little discovery upon returning home:

Evidently this is the Chroma Mosaic Shift dress from Anthropologie, sold in stores earlier this year. Originally retailed $138. The $24 price tag no longer seems so bad. :)

  1. This is such a lovely - and lucky! - thrifting find! I love the colors and print of the dress, it really must have stood out on the racks. I love Anthropologie, but as you pointed out, the prices are what drive me away from the store. This was definitely a great buy! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I think it is thrifted! You did get it at a cheap price after all and although $24 is not as cheap as $4, it is definitely a bargain : ) Is the dress pretty much brand new condition? Looks good on you and I would wear that in a second!

  3. i would definitely still call it thrifted! i mean... even at $24, it is still less expensive than dresses of lesser quality from other stores. even forever 21 you could not find a dress like that for 24! so great job with this one, i'm jealous :) i'm following you now also! if you'd like, i would really appreciate if you'd check out my blog.

  5. That's a steal, girl! I think you can get away with calling it "thrifted" though I try to make a distinction between thrifted and second hand or from a consignment store. Not everyone does, though. If you didn't get it retail or got a great deal on it, then thrifted is a good general word, you know?
Enough blabbing! Following you now :)
